The Treadwell Neo 2 EQ (equipped) model adds even more utility to an already highly capable ebike. It's simple to operate, has easy-to-reach bars and a seat position that allows you to put your foot down. With a full aluminium alloy frame, the Treadwell Neo is light and responsive with a smaller-than-average 250Wh integrated battery giving you enough power to get around town while keeping the overall weight low. It's not too upright and cruiser-y, nor too forward and sporty. The geometry sits in the middle to make for a comfortable but speedy ride. Add in the wide tyres for extra comfort over rough road surfaces and you'll be flying along in style.

Cannondale has opted for a hub drive design on the Treadwell Neo instead of the more common mid-drive. Having the motor in the rear wheel hub comes with a couple of significant advantages. Firstly, the overall cost of the bike is reduced because hub motors are simpler and cheaper to produce than bottom bracket motors. Secondly, the motor torque goes straight to the rear wheel, rather than being transmitted through the drivetrain. This means your chainrings, chain and cassette will all last longer. This saves you money and means you can spend more time riding your bike and less time waiting for it to be serviced.

The Equipped models Treadwells come with integrated mudguards, lights, kickstand and front rack. With all this kit included as standard, you'll be ready to take on the commute or go on an urban adventure straight away. Other features like the Intellimount stem allow you to attach your smartphone to the bars for navigation and activity tracking.
