Cannondale Caadx Apex 1 (2017)

The Cannondale CAADX Apex 1 has had its geometry overhauled for 2017 to match the incredible SuperX. With a slack 71 degree head tube angle for increased stability and comfort over rough terrain without losing any manoeuvrability. Paired with shorter chainstays and a lower bottom bracket means this bike fast, responsive and easy to control, whether you plan on racing ‘cross every weekend, or using it as an ultra-fast commuter bike across rough terrain.

The CAADX Apex 1 has loads of really nice features that make it that bit more special. Internally routed brake hoses for the SRAM hydraulic disc brakes disappear down through the carbon fork at the front, and into the downtube at the rear to keep everything tidy and out of the way. Gear cables are routed externally underneath the downtube for ease of access, and to provide a clear top tube for ease of carrying.

SRAM’s new Apex 1 groupset provides impeccable 1x11 shifting performance with hydraulic disc brakes in an incredibly light package. DOUBLETAP™ levers provide accurate shifting that you can rely on no matter where you ride. With wheels and tyres ready to go tubeless, all that is required is a spot of sealant and tubeless valves.
