Explore four floors of outdoors inspiration, clothing and technical gear at Tiso Rose Street.
Along with Edinburgh Castle as our boot room backdrop, we also boast some of Tiso and Blues’ most skilled and passionate staff. Our team love the outdoors and – from scaling Everest to walking Arthur’s Seat – we can offer expert advice on all our products… and the adventures you can have with them!
Our staff members attend weekly product briefings, and the majority hold training certificates in their chosen field. Step through our doors on Rose Street, and you’re guaranteed expert guidance and a warm welcome.
My daily role is to set up the guys for selling, firefight all the emails and make sure the store looks its best… and that the customers will have a great experience!
I’m a really keen outdoor enthusiast—I do a lot of hill walking and hill running. A lot of my hobbies cross over with my customers’, so I can talk with experience… whether I’m hiring or meet and greeting the customers!
I love being able to work for a family company like Tiso. I’ve got a lot of input in setups, management and merchandising. So I’ve got an autonomy within brands that you don’t necessarily get in bigger worldwide brands.
I first joined Tiso as a sales assistant back in 2008. I worked through the ranks, becoming a senior sales assistant and floor manager a year afterwards.
I love my job! The key thing for me is customers. It’s hugely variable every day – you meet different people all the time. The staff are fantastic, very approachable and enthusiastic guys and girls.
Before I came to work here, my main sport was football! But after coming to Tiso I got inspired by the fantastic staff, products and customers... so I started hillwalking. When customers come in and tell me what they’re doing with the kit, I’m like “I want to be part of that!”
